Jarlsberg: a 'wholly distinctive' campaign

We were delighted to launch the first ever broadcast media campaign for Jarlsberg in theJarlsberg Cheese UK. The campaign, that went live on Monday 9 March, is intended to raise awareness of Jarlsberg cheese and “soft” launch the new packaging for wedges and slices. It also incorporates the announcement of a luxury cookery prize draw that runs until Easter 2015.

In order to maximise the client’s media budget, we made use of existing assets supplied by Jarlsberg. This included editing an existing Norwegian TV commercial, tailoring it for the UK market, writing a new script and selecting actor Deborah Moore for the voiceover. The Point also designed and created the online digital ads as well as the competition entry microsite.

The campaign has been planned using the broadcast media (running on VOD and premium websites) to launch the free prize draw. You can view the final edit here http://youtu.be/T_3JeQU4qAo
